The Opticon M5 is an omnidirectional imaging scanner equipped with features providing additional value in reading linear barcodes and 2D codes. The built-in adjustable stand makes the scan angle easily adaptable to the working environment.The processor in the M5 supports up to 50 frames per second. The imager rapidly captures barcodes, 2D codes and mobile codes. In addition to the standard software and manual trigger options, the integrated auto-trigger function enables hands-free operation and automatic scan initiation. The mobile mode provides the possibility to read barcodes from mobile phones. Ideal for use in self-service mobile ticketing applications. Switching between mobile mode and (omnidirectional) scanning mode is supported by both manual switch or software command. The availability of several interfaces (RS232, USB HID/VCP and Keyboard Wedge) enables easy connectivity.
