DISINFECTING RECOMMENDATIONS FOR BARCODE SCANNERS, MOBILE COMPUTERS, BARCODE PRINTERS, POS DEVICES

OVERVIEW
Because of the current pandemic with the COVID-19 virus, BarCodeScannersDiscount.com has been approached regarding the cleaning of its' scanners and mobile devices. The following Bulletin will provide the necessary instructions on how to safely accomplish this task without harming the scanning devices.

DISINFECTING
To disinfect scanner/device surfaces, BarCodeScannersDiscount.com recommends using one of the two following solutions:
• Isopropyl Alchohol (70% solution at a minimum)
• Household Bleach (5-6% sodium hypochlorite) ½ cup bleach diluted in 1 gallon of water
