The Zebra P520i is a robust, high-speed, dual sided, full color, laminating id card printer with magnetic stipe and smart card capabilities. The P520i is designed to quickly produce ISO flat cards for high durability, and secure applications. The Zebra P520i features an all metal enclosure that houses a fast field-proven print engine, and a heavy-duty built in dual sided laminator.

Laminating considerably increases card life and durability. Lamination can prolong card life by 2 to 5 additional years when compared to non-laminated cards under similar conditions. The P520i printer/laminator is ultra-quiet and fast, printing and laminating up to 125 cards per hour. It is designed to print and laminate both sides of a card for dual-sided applications.

A user-friendly LCD display indicates unit status, settings and maintenance functions. Control buttons allow quick, easy access to menu options. The card feeder cover can be opened during operation to reload cards for continuous production.

Other advanced features include automatic ribbon and laminate synchonization, an in-line cleaning cartridge, optional magnetic encoding and/or Smart Card contact stations, a reject hopper for cards that fail encoding, and both Centronics and USB interfaces. Windows™ drivers, compatible with Windows™ NT, 95, 98,and 2000, provide convenient plug and play operation.
