UIC MSR112A RS232 Swipe Reader
The UIC MSR112A RS232 Swipe Reader are industrial strength countertop magnetic stripe readers that are port powered from the RS-232 interface. The reader is designed for ease of use and allows for bi-directional swiping capability. It is highly reliable and its magnetic head is specified for half a million swipes. It comes with an LED indicator and beeper for the status of the reader and enables manual swipe in both directions (front or back) that reads high and low coercivity magnetic stripes (300-4000 Oe).
The MSR112A conforms to International Standards Organization (ISO) 7810, ISO 7811 and American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrator (AAMVA) standards. It also fully conforms to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and European Conformity (CE) Class A (industrial) agency approval standards.
