The space-saving TLP 3842 desktop printer, for print widths up to four inches, adds high-resolution print capability to Zebra’s popular and proven Desktop 2800™ series. The TLP 3842’s 300-dpi printhead enables high-quality, crisp, clear printing of two-dimensional bar codes, fine text, and composite graphics— ensuring high-density data on very small labels is easy to read and highly scannable.

Flexible Connectivity
Equipped with serial, parallel, and USB interfaces, Zebra’s 3842 offers versatile connectivity and integration. Additionally, with the optional internal ZebraNet® PrintServer II, the TLP 3842 can be quickly and easily networked into an Ethernet environment without requiring a dedicated PC connection.

Easy-to-Use, Sturdy Design
The 3842 benefits from the practical design characteristics of the Desktop 2800 series, such as OpenACCESS™ for quick, foolproof media loading; and dual-walled, high-impact construction for extra durability in busy work environments.

The TLP 3842's 300 dpi printhead enables high quality, crisp, clear printing in applications requiring data such as 2D barcodes, fine text or composite graphics. 300 dpi resolution printing also ensures that very small labels, such as those used on lab vials or jewelry, are easy to read and scan. The 3842 offers versatile connectivity and easy integration. Equipped with serial, parallel and USB interfaces the TLP 3842 can quickly and easily be networked into any environment.

The TLP 3842 integrates easily into small-label and lower-volume printing applications including:
• Healthcare laboratory vial or prescription bottle labeling; RSS-14 reduced space symbology supports unit-of-use bar coding
