Datalogic Gryphon GBT4200 - Wireless Charging - 1D Cordless BarCode Scanner
The Gryphon 4200 is truly unique in having inductive wireless charging. The number one failure of cordless scanners in the field is poor or damaged charging contacts. Rather than requiring costly and time-consuming maintenance, the Gryphon 4200 will never let you down throughout thousands of charging cycles. By utilizing the same standard of charging used by most smartphone brands, Datalogic has created a scanner that will increase your operator’s productivity. The greatest advantage of using this scanner is that it will continue to perform after continuous charging and regular cleaning cycles. A full battery charge gets you an unbelievable 80 hours of operation or 80,000 reads!

The Gryphon 4200 series represents the premium range of handheld scanners from Datalogic for value added applications. The Gryphon 4200 linear imagers stand out with unchallenged ergonomics and outstanding reading performance. The Gryphon 4200 readers’ ability to capture bar codes from near to far, to read both high-density and low resolution codes, to decode hard-to-read, poorly printed or damaged codes and to easily read bar codes from mobile devices make these imagers the perfect choice for today’s applications.

The Gryphon 4200 scanners utilize Datalogic’s Motionix™ technology to automatically switch into the ‘ready-to-read’ scanning mode and to activate the distinctive ‘soft line viewfinder’ which helps the operator to easily target the code to be read. The Datalogic’s ‘Green Spot’ for good-read feedback directly on the code is ideal under dim lighting conditions or noisy environments.

Most working environments now have requirements that scanners need to be regularly cleaned and disinfected. The Gryphon 4200 series utilizes Disinfectant-Ready enclosures, designed to withstand regular daily cleaning with harsh disinfectant solutions commonly used in a healthcare environment.

Featuring Bluetooth® wireless technology (GBT models) or narrow band radio communications with Datalogic’s STAR Cordless System™ (GM models), the Gryphon 4200 wireless imagers provide maximum flexibility to solve any end user application with the best technical solution. One of the most important technical innovations that the Gryphon 4200 wireless scanners achieve is the battery recharges through Datalogic's Wireless Inductive Charging System YouTube Video, lowering the total cost of ownership because it eliminates the need for contacts’ cleaning and maintenance procedures. The maximum reliability offered by the wireless charging technology means 24/7 activities with no stops for maintenance or repair and toplevel operating productivity and performance.
