STAR SP500 Dot Matrix Receipt / Kitchen Printer, Interface Boards, Receipt Paper, Ribbons, Cables, Mounts, Buzzer The STAR SP500 is a High Speed, Low Cost, High Reliability, Compact, Dot Matrix, Label, Receipt and Ticket Printer. The SP500 from Star Micronics combines renowned reliability and a multitude of high-end features into a compact, value-driven solution. Features such as the logic seeking mechanism, new high-speed print head and the latest electronics contribute to the high print speed of the SP500. This print speed of over 4 lines per second (lps) enables the SP500 to outperform aa of the competitors in its class.

The hinged cover of the SP500, with its integrated ‘rain channel’, protects the printer form liquid spills and other debris. Protection from the elements and the single color highlight feature of the SP500 series provide an excellent solution for food service and kitchen applications where airborne debris is a sure factor. An internal universal power supply yields a small footprint, combined with the recessed cable connections make for an easy installation and an organized workstation.
